The Community of Cranston
The community of Cranston in South Calgary has been much over looked. It seems to me that the new areas of Cranston have everything a first-time home buyer is looking for, as well as the peace and tranquility a down sizer or retiree would be seeking. Why?

It seems today all the hype seems to be about lake communities. Don’t get me wrong, the new lake communities are beautiful. But this also means increased yearly fee costs as well as home builders creating as many homes as possible, close together to try to fulfill expected demand and maximize profits. Cranston’s location is ideal. Located in in deep south Calgary, filled with rolling hills as well as the gorgeous river valley just minutes away from ZEN Cranston Solar. This geography makes it impossible for builders to ruin the surrounding area by packing hundreds of homes into a small flat community. Providing breathtaking views as well as space and a relaxing suburb feeling. Something most people seek after a long day with the frustrations of inner-city stress.
With the ideal location, amenities are not far away.. groceries, gas, barber & hairdressers, restaurants… It is all right inside Cranston as well as just a short drive across the way to SETON. Seton includes 2 grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, everything you can think of or will need.
This is the part I love the most! Due to the geography of Cranston, it leaves it amazing terrain for cycle & running paths that have breathtaking views of the river valley. A skating rink in the community center, tennis courts, water park for the kids in the summer. Cranston has everything you are looking for. Within the next few years, SETON will be home to a large YMCA recreation facility!
